ValidLabels was created after seeing how chemical exporters across Europe were losing time and confidence to a problem that should already be solved.
Our story
From spreadsheets to a system
CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 requires chemical product labels in the official language(s) of every EU destination market. For companies selling to multiple countries simultaneously, that means managing dozens of label variants per SKU — each requiring accurate translations, full traceability, and controlled version history.
We are a software team from Wrocław, Poland with roots in logistics and cross-border supply. We started building ValidLabels in 2025 after working with distributors who were running multilingual label operations from shared folders, spreadsheet trackers, and consultant email threads.
No lightweight tool existed that combined translation, CLP validation, version control, and on-demand printing in one place. So we built one.
Validation partner
Stress-tested in a real warehouse
Before launch, we partnered with AFL (Aroma Formulation Labs), a specialist formulation and regulatory partner with active export operations across multiple EU markets. AFL processed 400+ SKUs and 100+ daily orders — including international shipments to Germany, France, and Poland — through ValidLabels before we opened it to other customers.
