7. Important Marketing Techniques

  1. The Operator uses statistical traffic analysis via Google Analytics (Google Inc., based in the USA). The Operator does not pass personal data to this service provider — only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user's end device. Regarding information on user preferences collected by Google's advertising network, users can view and edit information derived from cookies using the tool at: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
  2. The Operator uses the Facebook Pixel. This technology means that Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) knows that a registered user is using the Service. It is based on data for which Facebook itself is the controller; the Operator does not pass any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user's end device.
  3. The Operator uses a solution that analyses user behaviour through heatmaps and session recordings. This information is anonymised before being sent to the service provider so that it cannot be linked to any specific individual. In particular, passwords and other personal data are not recorded.

8. Cookie Information

  1. The Service uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Service User and are intended for use with the Service's web pages. Cookies typically contain the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device, and a unique number.
  3. The entity that places cookies on the Service User's end device and accesses them is the Service operator.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. maintaining the Service User's session (after logging in), so the user does not need to re-enter their login and password on every sub-page of the Service;
    2. fulfilling the purposes defined above in the section "Important Marketing Techniques";
  5. The Service uses two main types of cookies: "session" cookies and "persistent" cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the User's end device until they log out, leave the website, or close the browser. Persistent cookies are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
  6. Web browsing software (internet browser) typically allows cookies to be stored on the User's end device by default. Service Users can change settings in this regard. The browser allows deletion of cookies. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this is available in the browser's help or documentation.
  7. Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionality available on the Service's web pages.
  8. Cookies placed on the Service User's end device may also be used by entities cooperating with the operator, in particular the following companies: Google (Google Inc., based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc., based in the USA).
